Clarification of Procedures for Voice Signal Pre-Processing in Authentication System

The work analyzes and explores directions for improving quality characteristics of voice authentication systems in various access systems by enhancing the procedures for registration materials pre-processing. One of the main directions for improving the quality characteristics of these user authentication systems is related to the use of voice signal phase information. The current scientific problem of researching new procedures for pre-processing the voice signal of an authentication system user is being solved. Refinement of the preprocessing procedures was carried out using phase data of a voice signal. The results were obtained in the process of statistical analysis of simulation results using experimental voice data of an authentication system user. The phase space of the voice signal allows expanding the capabilities of preprocessing by utilizing a priori information about the nature of the change in phase data. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the fact that for the first time a methodology has been developed and experimental studies have been carried out on pre-processing the user's voice signal using the phase data space. The practical significance of the results obtained is as follows: the interval for approximating phase information is selected, taking into account a priori data on the nature of its change; a methodology was developed and features of phase information approximation for the studied voice signal were identified; experimental studies of compensation for random errors in registration materials were carried out. It is advisable to use the presented research results in voice authentication systems, improving speech recognition systems, as well as in solving problems of speaker identification.
