Algorithm for Signal Intersection Phase Combination Through Considering Movement Lapping

In order to further improve the control efficiency of signal intersection control schemes, an algorithm for determining the optimal signal control scheme considering movement lapping is proposed. The algorithm mainly analyzes and refines the movement compatibility relation to determine the combination of phase movements. Based on the requirements for setting phase movements in the intersection signal control scheme, it fully considers the movement lapping, introducing array concept and constructing mathematical algorithm adopt discrete mathematics were used to obtain feasible phase combination scheme at intersection. This supplements the shortcomings of existing algorithms and provides a solution guarantee for the optimization of subsequent signal intersection control schemes.
