XR-Based Immersive User Interface for the IoT and Metaverse Applications

In an era where technology continuously reshapes our interaction with the world, this paper presents a groundbreaking exploration into the fusion of Extended Reality (XR) with Internet of Things (IoT) applications, heralding a new frontier in user interface (UI) design. Through detailed analysis and practical examples, we showcase how XR can revolutionize the control and visualization of IoT devices, making complex systems more accessible and engaging. In particular, we have linked XR UI with the most popular IoT communication protocol, to enable the direct interaction among various IoT devices and XR head mounted displays (glasses).
