Extended Fuzzy Possibilistic Segmentation

The Fuzzy_Possibilistic C_Means (FPCM) method is improved in this study by using Type-2 Fuzzy_Logic Techniques, with the goal of enhancing the algorithm's overall effectiveness. Using well-known datasets including Wine, WDBC, Iris Flower, Ionosphere, Abalone, and Cover type, a series of tests were carried out to evaluate the suggested technique and compare it with the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy C_Means algorithm. Additionally, tests were run on a collection of test photos to gauge how well both methods performed during the preprocessing stage. To ascertain the suggested approach's relative performance, comparison studies between the proposed algorithm and the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy C_Means (I T-2F CM) method were conducted.
