Digital Drive Method of Coriolis Mass Flowmeter Based on Tracking Vibration Attenuation

A new digital drive method is proposed to solve the problem that ordinary digital drive method cannot accurately track the natural frequency change of tube. After analyzing the source of tracking error of tube natural frequency, the method uses amplitude to monitor the natural frequency of tube and updates the driving frequency by estimating the attenuation signal frequency after vibration stop. Experiments show that the proposed digital drive method can timely adjust the synthetic signal parameters when the natural frequency of the tube changes, improve the tracking accuracy of the digital driving natural frequency, and make the driving system perform better; At 65 °C, compared to ordinary digital drives, the measurement accuracy of the Coriolis mass flowmeter using the new digital drive method has improved by 37.87%.
