Probabilistic Inspection of Damage Based on Damage Index Fusion for Detecting Complex Composite Structure

Reconstruction Algorithm for Probabilistic Inspection is a promising algorithm and widely used for active damage detection and localization. In this paper, the method based on multiple damage index fusion is used to verify its damage detection effect on complex composite structure with screw holes and hollow circular opening. This paper fuses two types of damage index, then sets up an inspection of the damage index to eliminate the small value of damage index, and finally sets a threshold to narrow the reconstructed false image range. Experimental results demonstrate the precision of the algorithm for detecting damage on complex composite structure and the effectiveness of fusion of damage index.
