Direct Instantaneous Torque Control of SRM with Incomplete Differential Fuzzy PID Adaptation

Switched reluctance motor (SRM)as a new type of speed control drive system, has the disadvantage of large torque pulsation compared with other motors especially at low speed. Torque pulsation inhibition has been a focus of research. The magnetic circuit structure of the motor has a strong nonlinearity which makes it very difficult to study. On the principle of the conventional direct instantaneous torque control (DITC) method, this paper designs the incomplete fuzzy adaptive controller with the first order inertia link to replace the traditional PID governor and builds a system to improve the rotation speed closed loop. Finally, the simulation results show that the dynamic and static performance, anti-interference and adaptability of the new system are improved. The fuzzy control strategy after adding the first order inertial link improves the torque pulse coefficient by 10.1 % compared with the direct PI control strategy.
