Utilization of Spectrum Sensing Paradigms in Wireless Communication

Recent advancements in wireless energy harvesting technologies have paved the way for self-sustaining wireless communications to support broadband services. While wirelessly powered communications rely on active signals and consume substantial power, a novel approach involves utilizing diffuse multispectral innovation that quietly harnesses existing signal generators in the air, enabling applications with remarkably low power consumption. This article proposes an integrated conceptual framework by combining atmospheric noise and interference with connectivity communications. The uniqueness of mixed communications lies in their self-sustainability, eliminating the need for an external power source. However, the effectiveness of this fusion connectivity heavily depends on environmental variables, such as the dispersion, geographic abundance, and transmitting burden of environmental signals, as they are utilized for power generation and transmission. To enhance adaptability to the surroundings, we introduce two channel allocation algorithms for the composite emitter. Subsequently, we provide analytical models to elucidate how the considered environmental variables impact the efficacy of mixed interaction. Our research, supported by comprehensive models, reveals that higher resistance, transmitting burden, and intensity of environmental energy sources contribute to improved communication. Additionally, we explore the influence of various spectrum sensing strategies on the effectiveness of dialogue in this innovative communication paradigm.
