Reconfiguration Scheme Design of DRDES based on Simulated Annealing Algorithm

A dynamic reconfigurable discrete event system (DRDES) could change its configuration at runtime according to volatile internal/external execution environment. Under the premise that the target configuration is known, how to change the active configuration step by step without a system halt guaranteed by global performance indicators, is a hot topic in the research area of DRDESs. This work takes a low orbit satellite communication network system as an application example of DRDESs, where configurations are modeled by undirected graphs and the global performance indicator is the average invulnerability. After comparing the initial and the target configurations, the set of reconfiguration events are obtained and the simulated annealing algorithm is applied to find an adequate reconfiguration scheme that is a reconfiguration event sequence. The simulation results show that the algorithm can find an appropriate reconfiguration scheme efficiently such that the required maximum average invulnerability of the low orbit satellite communication network during dynamic reconfiguration is guaranteed.
