Distributed Interval Observer Design for a Discrete-Time LTI System

This paper introduces the investigation of distributed interval observers for discrete-time linear time-invariant systems in the presence of external disturbances and measure-ment noises. The focus is specifically on scenarios where only the boundary values of external disturbances and measurement noises are required to be known. Different gains were designed using the multi-hop decomposition method to cut down on the amount of information exchange needed to measure every agent state. The theoretical conclusions were validated through numerical simulation following careful design and analysis.
