Defect Detection Method of Small-Diameter Ferromagnetism Pipeline Based on Uniform Electromagnetic Field

In view of the high requirement of the small-diameter pipeline for the passing ability of detection equipment, a defect detection method of double coil structure is designed based on the uniform electromagnetic field. Firstly, the principle of uniform electromagnetic field detection technology is introduced. Secondly, based on the principle of uniform electromagnetic field detection, the characteristics of the detection signal are studied by finite element simulation method. And the structural parameters of the detection device were further optimized. Finally, a uniform electromagnetic field defect detection experimental device was built in the laboratory. The experimental results show that the uniform electromagnetic field defect detection technology can accurately detect the defects of small-diameter ferromagnetic pipes, and has the advantages of light weight, weak magnetic adsorption force and low power consumption.
