Game Theory-Based Vehicle Lane Change Collaboration Strategy in Connected Vehicle Environment

Vehicle lane changing is one of the main causes of traffic congestion and traffic safety. In view of the existing problems, a vehicle lane change decision model based on game theory is proposed in the connected vehicle environment, and the predicted gain function is constructed. Then, the weight coefficients of the gain function are designed by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) hierarchical analysis, and the optimal strategy of vehicle lane change is obtained by solving the equilibrium solution of the game model combining the right-of-way information and the game decision model. Finally, the simulation results show that the game decision model can improve the driving speed of lane change vehicles, enhance the operation efficiency, and then increase the road capacity.
