Improved Integral Sliding Mode Control Strategy of PMLSM Based on Extended State Observer

A composite control strategy with an improved integral sliding mode controller (ISMC) and an extended state observer (ESO) is proposed for the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMSLM) servo system that is easily affected by uncertainties such as parameter variations, load perturbations and friction. Firstly, a mathematical model of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor considering the total disturbance is established; secondly, an improved integral sliding mode control strategy is proposed to design the speed controller and the stability is proved by Lyapunov, and in order to further enhance the anti-disturbance performance of the system, an extended state observer is introduced to estimate the system disturbances and apply them to feedforward compensation, and stability is proved for the system as a whole; finally, the feasibility of the proposed control method is verified by simulation, which can effectively improve the robustness and convergence speed of the system and reduce the chattering generated by the sliding mode surface.
