Augmented Reality Business Card: Revolutionizing Networking

Many professionals use business cards to connect with others in their field, but traditional cards made of cardstock have limitations. They are hard to handle, and there's only so much information you can include on them. As there is a huge rise in the use of smartphones, we saw an opportunity to modernize this use case. Our project focuses on creating an Augmented Reality Business Card that offers a much more interactive experience. By using advanced technologies like Unity3D, ARCore, AR Foundation, and Vuforia, we've developed an app that scans these augmented reality business cards with incredible accuracy—up to 96% [1]. This means you can have detailed, interactive profiles accessible through a simple scan. This not only improves user experience but also boosts feedback by a significant 57%. It's an exciting step toward merging traditional networking with cutting-edge technology.
