Evaluation of the Descriptive Data Analysis and Statistical Analysis of Vitiligo Among the Patients Attending Opd and Ipd in Gsmc, Palayamkottai.

Skin disorders can have different symptoms and levels of severity some have occupational or psychological causes, some may be inherited, and it can be short- or extended, painful or pleasant. Skin problems might vary from innocuous to catastrophic. External environmental elements including biological, chemical, and physical elements as well as internal environmental factors like diet, mental health, endocrine function, metabolism, nutrition, immune response, and medication use are the main causes of skin diseases. An estimated 0.5–2% of people worldwide are considered to be afflicted by vitiligo, a common skin condition that causes pigmentation loss. Melanocytes are specifically lost in the condition, which usually leaves no scaly, chalky-white macules. The dermatological condition identified as vitiligo is primarily brought about by pigment loss on the skin's surface without any modifications or disruptions to its appearance. The goal of this study is to evaluate the qualitative description of vitiligo in patients undergoing treatment at Palayamkottai's governmentrun Siddha Medical College. For it to comprehend the profile of the patients enrolled in the study, descriptive analysis will be performed and the required tables and graphs will be created. A statistical approach will be used to determine the application of the distinguishing features. Both quantitative and qualitative data will be evaluated using the student's t-test and chi-square test. This study identifies a number of significant risk factors for vitiligo, such as a person's work, family history, and dietary deficiencies including hereditary and family history, occupational status, and nutritional deficiencies such as iron, copper, and protein. This study is very useful for further research and to cure the condition in perfectly.
