Abstract:

A two-dimensional navigation system is developed to give consumers location-based information. The resulting program gives the user the ability to navigate across the university area and locate routes to particular destinations on campus. An application for campus navigation was created as part of this development. A technology called interior navigation is used to find specific destinations within a campus. The navigation system discussed in this paper leverages data from a campus' active database to identify the locations that users request. The campus floor plan serves as the basis for the two- dimensional navigation system, which guides users with the aid of a route and a mechanism for path assistance. A path can be manually entered into the web application and exhibited from the user's position right now to the targeted destination. The building of a working model for smartphone or laptop software that aids students in exploring the campus is the stated goal of this project. The user's existing spot can be used in association with the navigational tool to highlight them nearby attractions and aid them in becoming familiar with the campus.
