Analysis On Optimal Control of Flexible Temperature Regulating Electric Load Based on The Considerations of User Comfort Level and Power Consumption Cost

To address the challenges of decreased comfort level of users in response of supply and demand, this paper puts forward an optimal and flexible temperature control method based on time-of-use electricity pricing, and establishes two phases optimization models with air conditioner power consumption as an example, by taking into considerations of comfort level and power consumption cost. In the first phase, the operation strategy of air conditioner is to optimize the power consumption cost. While in the second phase, minimize the cost of light abandonment and power purchase to optimize the energy storage and power grid power purchase strategies. CPLEX and YALMIP solvers are adopted, and the performance of the optimization model in different scenarios is analyzed in algorithm cases. The results illustrate the method and model can realize peak clipping effectively and reduce power consumption cost while meeting the comfort requirements of users.
