Study of Maximum Power of Wave Energy Device Based on Differential Equation Modeling

This paper focuses on an in-depth study of the dynamic behavior of floats and oscillators in wave energy devices. The displacements and velocities of the floats and oscillators in the pendular motion are described using differential equation models and solved numerically by MATLAB. Firstly, the dynamic characteristics of the float and oscillator are accurately depicted and the maximum output power is solved; secondly, the optimal damping coefficients are determined by optimizing the damping coefficients, as well as the maximum value of the output power energy under specific conditions; finally, the model is extended to the longitudinal rocking motion, and the interactions between the longitudinal rocking and the pendulum motion are analyzed. This study provides an important theoretical basis for the design and optimization of wave energy devices.
