Prototype Evaluation and User Experience Analysis of Automated Distractor Generator for English Test

English vocabulary tests are usually conducted in multiple choice form due to the efficiency it offers in scoring. Distractors in multiple choice question gives more impact in question difficulty and extremely difficult to be made. On multiple choice type vocabulary questions, Automated Item Generation (AIG) can be used to generate distractors, or in another term, Automated Distractor Generator (ADG). From the literature that has been studied, no scholarly research has been conducted to assess and analyze the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) dimensions of ADG. However, it is crucial to consider the importance of UI and UX to meet user needs, address user issues, and cultivate a satisfying user experience. This research aims to conduct prototype evaluation and user experience analysis of automated distractor generation for English test using UEQ. From the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the high fidelity prototype that has been designed is sufficient to meet the user experience. This is proven by the mean value of the six scales which exceeds the value of 0.8. The scale of stimulation has a value of 2.7 which is the highest value than the other 5 scales. Meanwhile, the dependability value of 1.5 is the lowest of all 6 scales. The results of comparing the prototype with the benchmark also show good results. The attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, stimulation and novelty scales get excellent status, while the dependability scale gets good status.
