Research on Cylindrical Projection Transformation of Fixed Elevation Cameras in Panoramic Stitching

Cylindrical projection transformation has an important application in panoramic image stitching technology. In certain application scenarios, in order to observe high-altitude scenes, the camera has a fixed elevation angle relative to the placement plane. After using the traditional cylindrical projection formula, 360-degree cylinder stitching cannot be performed. In response to this problem, the cylindrical projection with a fixed tilt angle was split into two parts: the vertical projection of the fixed tilt angle camera and the cylindrical projection of the vertical plane. Through theoretical calculations, the transformation formula was obtained.
