Siwaratri Digital Book to Introduce the Ancient Mataram Stories

The challenges of increasing reading literacy, book reading habits, and changing children's reading habits provide opportunities to design e-books about Indonesian history. This study aims to create a digital book of concept art based on pipeline concept art in introducing ancient Mataram culture. This study uses a single case in the form of a Siwaratri digital concept art book. The method used in creating this digital concept art book is descriptive narrative, and the exploratory design of concept artworks is guided by the pipeline concept art concept with three stages: design brief, sketching and production. The results of the data analysis obtained are warm and yore as the concept of the work used and by the intended youth readership. This concept is used to guide the Siwaratri digital concept art book. The concept art digital book uses red and yellow domination to represent the concept of warm and yore and e-book output so that the public can easily access it. The presence of the Siwaratri digital concept art book can help introduce Indonesian culture and history, which is digital-based and can be used anytime so that people remember to read books. The Siwaratri concept art digital book design helps readers to understand the ancient Mataram kingdom culture that has long been forgotten.
