Statistics and Analysis of Characteristic Harmonic Monitoring Data for a Converter Station

This paper analyzes and studies the abnormal level of characteristic harmonic flowing into the AC power grid at a certain converter station in North China. Firstly, the equivalent model of harmonic analysis of converter station is given, and the quantification index of AC filtering effect is proposed. Then, the AC filter configuration of the converter station is clarified, and the harmonic anomaly and harmonic emission characteristics of the converter station are mastered by analyzing the day statistical data and typical day minute-level data of the monitoring point for a whole year, and the causes of harmonic anomaly are clarified. Finally, for the abnormal characteristic harmonics, the requirements of filtering effects of the filter are proposed, which provides a reference for the configuration and operation optimization of the filter.
