Prediction of Motion Trajectory of Fire Line Based on Mean Correction of Kalman Filter

Given the features such as strong real-time performance and large prediction time span of the motion trajectory data of fire line throughout dynamic firing of armored vehicles, the Kalman filtering is used to filter the data first, and then the improved mean correction method is used to predict the trajectory of fire line. As a whole the prediction algorithm of motion trajectory of fire line based on the mean correction of Kalman filter can improve the gate probability of fire line when the projectile is fired from the muzzle after firing delay by 10% to 20% through data simulation verification. This method not only improves the firing accuracy of the fire control system, but also meets the real-time requirements of the fire control system, which provides theoretical support for the application of prediction of motion trajectory of fire line in fire control systems.
