Complexes of fast simulation models of systems with cascaded frequency converter at correction motor and electrical grid current

A new set of models of systems with cascaded frequency converter (CFC) has been developed. The models have been executed in ComSim (self-engineered software) and in MatLab. The CFC consists of series of identical transistor-capacitor blocks (TCB) with diode (DFE) and active front-end (AFE) rectifiers. Vector control of AFE and motors has been realized. It is provided to disconnect faulty TCB at symmetrization of the basic and suppression of undesirable components of currents by correction blocks. Calculations by full models and "smooth components" of variables has been realized. New calculation algorithms significantly reduce machine time costs, up to real-time calculations. Dual-model calculations have been implemented, combining speed and accuracy of analysis. Fast simulation models allowed to use a more precise description of systems.
