Development of an Internet of Things based Bangla Calendar Clock

In this paper, a novel clock has been implemented in hardware, integrating time, weekday, and Bangla and English dates. Time synchronization is based on the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling automatic synchronization of time and dates with the standard time via the Internet at periodic intervals. We have used two LED matrices for display and a microcontroller as the main processing unit. A Wi-Fi module is used to achieve online synchronization, and a Real Time Clock module is used to run the clock in offline mode, which keeps track of time between online synchronizations and in cases where the internet may not be accessible.
