Performance Analysis of UAV Assisted Underlay Cognitive STBC NOMA Systems

This paper studies the outage performance of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) assisted underlay cognitive Alamouti space-time block code aided non-orthogonal multiple access (STBC-NOMA) network. In the network, the secondary transmitter (ST) sends the information to it’s users by using the spectrum of primary user and with the aid of the UAV relay. The ST and the UAV both employs STBC-NOMA technique in the network. We obtain the closed-form expressions of the outage probability (OP) for the secondary users in the network and compared results with the NOMA scheme. The comparison proves the superiority of the STBC-NOMA scheme over NOMA scheme. The asymptotic expressions of the OP are also obtained at high signal-to-noise ratios. Monte Carlo simulation results validate the accuracy of theoretical findings.
