Ka-band/E-band 4096-QAM CMOS TRx Development

This paper presents a review of transmitters and receivers at the Ka-band/E-band. A comparison of the different LO quadrature signal generation methods is also conducted with the intention of discussing the possibility of 4096-QAM at these frequencies.
