Measurement and modeling for sub-THz CMOS design: Challenges and opportunities

Sub-THz CMOS integrated circuits for high-speed wireless communications have made significant progress over the past decade. This paper reviews measurement and modeling issues that were essential to the successful development of sub-THz transmitters and receivers by the author and his colleagues, and remaining challenges.
