Optical filter-less WDM visible light communication using neural network

We propose an optical filter-less wavelength-division multiplexing visible-light communication system using light-emitting diodes of two colors with close emission wavelengths. The proposed method for signal separation uses a neural network with pseudo-receiving signals. Experimental results showed that the proposed method enables signal separation with a bit error rate below $3.8 \times 10^{-3}$ (forward error correction limit).
