Pillar-Type Laser-Induced Graphene Airflow Sensor Assembled Via Kirigami / Origami Technique

This paper reports a pillar-type laser-induced graphene (LIG) airflow sensor assembled via Kirigami / Origami technique. The proposed sensing element can be fabricated by processing polyimide (PI) film with two types of lasers. In addition, the pillar assembled with the jigs maintains a three-dimensional structure. The prototype multiaxial airflow sensor fabricated by the proposed process responded quadratically to the wind speed and sinusoidally to the wind direction.
