CCPSMS: Container/IaaS Converged Cloud Platform Status Management System

With the rapid development of cloud computing, enterprise infrastructures are gradually transitioning from physical servers to converged clouds. Converged clouds remain the capabilities of managing traditional virtual machines and containerized cloud environments. However, the complexity of converged cloud platforms and its relied technologies have increased the difficulty of platform management. How to observe the state of platform and application become the challenge. Thereby, we design and implement a Container/IaaS Converged Cloud Platform Status Management System (CCPSMS). The system collects the metrics and log from the container cloud. The internal anomaly detection subsystem conducts cloud platform anomaly detection and generates alerts based on the results of anomaly detection according to the internal anomaly detection algorithms. Generally, CCPSMS conducts the persistent storage of operating and maintenance data of converged cloud platform with its applications, provides the visualization interface, and detects the anomalies and alarms to users.
