Assessing the Impacts of Digital Anti-Corruption Tools in Moroccan Public Administrations: An Exploratory Study

The fight against corruption is crucial for Public Administrative Organizations (PAOs). Hence, the implementation of Digital Anti-corruption Tools (DATs) has become one of the priorities for governance in the public sector. The aim of the paper is to provide an exploratory case study of the multiple impacts of DATs used in the Moroccan PAO context. Via a logical framework approach, a method used in project management systems for planning projects and evaluating them, this paper provides an assessment of the multifaceted effects of DATs in the Moroccan context. It applies a mixed-methods approach based on three tasks that integrate with each other. The results provide a summary of the main findings regarding the outcomes generated by the introduction of new DAT initiatives. Finally, this paper provides insights into the most impactful DATs used in the Moroccan context.
