Fluidized-bed dryer prototype for arabica coffee beans: sizing and performance testing

The article presents the design of a prototype fluidized-bed dryer for arabica coffee beans where is explained the mathematical model of the design the prototype and its components, in addition to determine the minimum velocity of fluidization and the construction of the prototype that allows, through the analysis of operating parameters of a fluidized-bed drying equipment, the corroboration of the computations obtained.
