Student research group as a research - based in application of renewable energy

The growing shortage of electrical energy based on non-renewable resources has left an increasing need for professionals adequately trained for the research and development of projects focused on Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Sources and the technologies related to these sources. This article talks about the mixed methodology of teaching and learning in which the students of electrical engineering of the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, specifically of the research group on renewable energy, actively participate in the study of three renewable energy projects, their characteristics, and the way to take advantage of them.
