Analysis of the Thermal Sensation in the Veracruz-Boca del Río Region during Solar Cycle 24 from the Correlation of Variables from Solar Cycle 23

The Environmental Thermal Sensation (STA) is established using meteorological parameters of daily data such as Temperature (T), Relative Humidity (H), and Wind Speed (VV), with algorithms commonly employed by meteorological stations worldwide. Simplifying these algorithms for everyday use could lead to reduced investments in monitoring equipment. This information is crucial for making well-timed decisions at the local level to ensure the well-being of ecosystem inhabitants. We present a more straightforward mathematical representation for determining ETS, primarily using the temperature variable. This simplified algorithm was subjected to ANOVA (α=0.05), comparing STACS24Real and STACS24-(2), demonstrating no significant difference between these two environmental thermal sensations using the equation (2) derived from the STACS23 analysis. The result, with a p-value of 0.897591, supports the reliability of equation (2) in gauging Environmental Thermal Sensation for forthcoming solar cycles within the Veracruz-Boca del Rio Conurbation Zone, based solely on the present temperature variable.
