Application of Data Mining in Educational Management Information System

Data mining is a process of extracting meaningful information from data. Information extraction is accomplished by using various technologies such as clustering, association rule discovery, association rule evaluation and classification. These technologies are used to extract information from data, which is not in its original form, but can be found after applying these technologies. In this way, we can have a deep understanding of what is really important in the dataset and how it affects our behavior. This knowledge can help us make better decisions about future actions or choices without any prior knowledge. This paper introduces the algorithm of association rules mining in data mining technology to mine the correlation and correlation between postgraduate curriculum plan and curriculum scores. The results of mining will provide effective decision sup-port for the design of postgraduate curriculum system. This paper introduces an effective analysis method for graduate education administrators to find value from data and apply it to grad-uate education.
