Design and Implementation of Voltage Difference Transconductance Amplifier

The Cadence Virtuoso tool with GPDK 90nm technology is used to develop a two-stage CMOS amplifier in the project titled “Design and Implementation of Voltage Difference Transconductance Amplifier.” Achieving high gain and low power consumption is the main goal. To achieve a gain of 33dB and power consumption of 225μW. The operation of the circuit has been observed and enforced at a supply voltage of ± 900mv (bias current of 150μA). Cadence Virtuoso and GPDK 90nm are the respective tools and technologies used. The proposed system can amplify voltage signals directly, transconductance amplifiers amplify voltage differences by producing a proportional output current. For a variety of analogue and mixed-signal circuit design requirements, the Voltage Differential Transconductance Amplifier (VDTA) is necessary. Active filters, signal processing, voltage-controlled oscillators, instrumentation amplifiers, analog signal processing, voltage-controlled current sources, communication systems, and biomedical circuits are the various applications of the Voltage Difference Transconductance Amplifier (VDTA).
