Research on RAN Slicing Resource Allocation Techniques for Power Applications

Considering the requirements of on-demand customization, scalability, and security isolation in power application scenarios, it is a challenging issue to achieve flexible resource allocation and optimal isolation effects on limited wireless resources while meeting the basic network needs and maximizing the utilization of wireless access network slicing resources. This article proposes a method that targets multiple service access requirements in the power industry. It performs dual-layer isolation configuration and adjustment of radio access network (RAN) slicing resources across different time scales, including resource isolation configuration solutions for service demand points at a large time grain size and UE resource adaptive adjustment solutions at a small time grain size. This method supports the allocation of channels to multiple types of UEs with different requirements in complex environments, thereby maximizing spectral efficiency.
