Design of Time-Aware Shaper with Token Bucket Algorithm Integration

Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) aims to achieve real-time, high reliability, and time-sensitive communication. Flow scheduling is carried out through the Time-Aware Shaper (TAS) defined by the IEEE 802.1Qbv substandard, ensuring determinism for time-critical traffic. However, TAS faces issues of congestion and overload. In this paper, the token bucket algorithm is combined with the time-aware shaper to smooth traffic limiting and solve congestion and overload problems.
