Mathematical Modeling and Simulation Experiment of Psychological Factors Affecting Pedestrian Evacuation Efficiency

This paper aims at the problem of the influence of psychological factors on the evacuation efficiency of pedestrians in emergencies, and proposes a mathematical method to introduce psychological factors into simulation modeling. Firstly, the influence mechanism of psychological factors on pedestrian behavior and evacuation speed is analyzed by literature review, and a pedestrian evacuation model with psychological factors is established. Then, the computer simulation software is used to simulate the model, taking the fire evacuation of a university building as an example, and analyzing the evacuation speed and path of the personnel under different psychological states. Finally, the simulation results are compared with the situation without considering psychological factors, and it is found that the evacuation time of the personnel increases by 14.5% and the risk also increases accordingly after introducing psychological factors. The innovation point of this paper is to introduce psychological factors into the pedestrian evacuation model for the first time, and verify its effectiveness and importance by simulation experiments.
