A Review on Deep Learning Algorithms for Sleep Quality Monitoring in Osteoporosis Patients

Osteoporosis is a common bone condition marked by reduced bone density, which increases the risk of fracture. Since poor sleep habits have been linked to the onset and progression of osteoporosis, sleep quality is vital for bone health. Deep learning algorithms have become more widely used in a variety of medical applications, including the evaluation of sleep quality, thanks to developments in artificial intelligence. The survey intends to examine the body of knowledge about the application of deep learning algorithms to the evaluation of sleep in osteoporosis patients. This review offers important insights into the potential of deep learning to improve the management and treatment of osteoporosis through enhanced sleep quality evaluation by analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, and future prospects of various approaches.
