Advancing Early Detection Of Vitiligo Using A Non-Invasive Detection System

The prevalence of Vitiligo, a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by the loss of skin pigment is alarmingly high in India. It affects up to 8.8% of the population. This project proposes a revolutionary non-invasive pre-vitiligo detection system designed to identify the early signs of vitiligo without requiring invasive procedures or skin biopsies. This system integrates the color and temperature sensors of TCS3200 with Node MCU and ESP8266 module to transmit real-time data. It allows individuals to monitor the condition of their skin effortlessly. The system collects data and displays it on an OLED screen. It can also transmit the data to a mobile application, which enables self-assessment and remote evaluation by healthcare professionals.
