Challenges in the Post-Pandemic Era: Examining the Influence of Self-Regulated Learning on Academic Stress Among Students in Indonesian Higher Education Institutions

The primary aim of this research is to examine the possible impact of self-regulated learning (SRL) on the levels of academic stress encountered by students enrolled in various university in Indonesia. Quantitative research methods are grounded in the systematic measurement of quantities or values. The data-gathering methodology employed in this study was the utilization of a survey instrument. The survey constitutes a quantitative research undertaking that utilizes a standardized set of structured questions, which are uniformly presented to all participants. The impact of SRL on the magnitude of academic stress encountered by tertiary students in Indonesia is not significant. The phenomenon can be attributed to a multitude of potential factors, including diminished student motivation, diminished support networks, and inadequate time management skills. This finding suggests that the questionnaire exhibits a degree of inconsistency, indicating the need for future researchers to develop or employ other scales that offer greater reliability, especially in the post-pandemic era.
