Predicting Diseases Using Chest X-Ray Medical Images

Pneumonia and Coronavirus are the key disease that has affected people rapidly in the last couple of years across the globe. Medical Practitioners confirm the diseases using chest X-ray medical images. Computed Radiology, Computer Aided Diagnosis has an edge over the traditional process as it helps to find the ailment at a primary stage, which saves lives at a growing scale day by day. To predict the chest diseases, deep learning methods are promising in predicting the type of chest disease with greater accuracy. In the proposed model to detect chest diseases, DenseNet, Image processing, and deep-learning classification techniques are used. The proposed methodology optimizes the output that includes the inclusion of augmentation layers, dataset filtering, etc., and results in achieving an accuracy of 95.96%.
