The Study of Series Inclined Slot Feed Wide Band Circularly Polarised Antenna for 5G Application

Based on a previously developed slot feed antenna for 5g 28 GHz antenna, in this work, a new circularly polarized antenna's design, modelling, and measurement outcomes are presented by 4.6 GHZ of frequency range which may vary up to 4.8 GHZ for wide band application. The size of the proposed antenna will be same as that of traditional antenna but number of slots may vary with different dielectric coefficients which resembles the change in behavior of antenna axial ratio, radiation pattern, radiation efficiency, S-parameter and VSWR pattern owing to the internal slots that provide the effect for the physical separation of the electric and magnetic field in the specified antenna construction, as compared to the conventional version of antenna. Tests and simulations have been done on the planned antenna. The proposed antenna's maximum return loss at 4.8 GHz frequency is 31.8135 dB based on the recommended design. In comparison to the reference antenna's gain of 8.5448 dB, we obtained an increased gain of 8.9977 dB using the suggested antenna. We have observed Shift of 10.578 dB in S11 parameter which results in improved performance of up to 23.121 % and VSWR with a downfall of 9.488% with the gain increment of 5.03% (which is from 8.5448 to 8.9977dBic).
