Remote Vital-Sign Monitoring for Heart-Attack Patients in Telemedicine

Cardiovascular diseases have increased in the graph over the past few years worldwide. Annually, it is estimated that coronary heart disease (CHD) kills approximately 382,820 people in the world. According to statistics, in the year 2022 around 200 million people are living with coronary heart disease thus, prevention and detection of CVD are important. According to surveys, India will have more cardiac patients than any other nation by the year 2023. Thus, electrocardiograms, which are used to monitor the electrical activity of the heart, are more of a need than a pleasure. Remote vital sign monitoring systems have become a promising solution to detect and prevent heart attacks. This study proposes a health monitoring system that utilizes wearable devices to collect and analyze data on the vital signs of heart attack patients continuously. The system also incorporates machine-learning algorithms to analyze the data, identify patterns and anomalies, and generate real-time alerts for healthcare professionals in case of any abnormalities. The proposed system can be a valuable tool in preventing and detecting heart attacks and has the potential to revolutionize how healthcare professionals monitor and treat heart attack patients.
