Design of PET Substrate Based Independently Controllable Triangular DRA for Implantable Devices

Every year, a large number of patients benefit from advances in implantable medical devices (IMDs) such as bio-telemetry and hyperthermia. The quality of the implantable device was judged by how well its sensors and antennas interacted. Antenna researchers work hard to meet the medical industry's demands by delivering fresh designs and ideas. Current implant antennas function poorly due to considerable metallic losses and varied implant depth. The purpose of this study is to identify the most significant issues now confronting implant applications and to propose viable solutions.The proposed work introduces a 2.45 GHz dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). The implant DRA is placed on a biocompatible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate with a depth of 0.5 mm, and Al2O3 is used to create the resonant structure. Because the strip line is connected to the ground plane, ground and DRA can be regulated independently.
