An Implementation of Serial Interface Engine with Transceiver using Verilog HDL

In this works, a serial bus transceiver for field-programmable gate array data transmission and packet manipulation is proposed. Data is received from the central processor unit of a computer through the SIE block and sent to the universal transceiver macro-cell interface, which manages data serialization and de-serialization, bit stuffing, clock recovery, and clock synchronization. A unique weighted TPG for a scan-based architecture is the purpose of this study. We want to build efficient weighted patterns for scan chains that use less power and storage. This technique achieves low power consumption while reducing hardware overhead. The purpose of this study is to design low-overhead weighted patterns for use in enabling scan chains. This method minimizes power usage and hardware requirements. Two distinct test-per-scan arrangements both show the weighted TPG's promising performance.
