Optical Trapping and Manipulation of Phase-Change Material Nanoparticles

In this study, we performed optical trapping of VO
2
nanoparticles. Because of the temperature-dependent nonlinear change of the VO
2
refractive index, VO
2
particles are stably trapped on a circular orbit around the laser focus.
