Distance Measurement Based on a Coherently Synthesized Two-Color EO Comb Towards High-Accuracy Air-Refractive Index Self-Correction

A distance measurement system with
$< 1\ \mu \mathrm{m}$
resolution is demonstrated based on a coherently synthesized two-color EO comb. Air-refractive index self-correction is possible through measuring the optical distances that follow group and phase refractive indices.
